Pizzalab Complex 0.1.3 Redux Progress Update


Hey everyone, how’s it going?

Posting an informational update for those using Itch.io...

Most of the updates happen over on Patreon, but I’ll leave a bit of information here about the game’s progress!

Right now, I’m almost ready to release version 0.1.3! All characters have been replaced with more detailed and unique models! (The old models will still be in the game—for now... as an Easter egg).

The game now has a MUCH more developed lore, along with new features you’re going to love, such as building affinity with the girls, talking to them, and unlocking more H-scenes. Plus, there are now closer interactions that make the game feel more alive.

Another big change is the puzzle system—it has been completely remade, redesigned, and expanded! There are now more puzzles than ever and even a jumping system, introducing platforming elements in some parts of the game.

The Complex is bigger than ever, with more rooms, improved environments, better graphics, and additions that make it feel more unique. And no more strict main objectives! While the game still has a story and some level of linearity, you can now choose what to do, where to explore, and experience the puzzles and locations at your own pace.

Another huge upgrade is the brand-new UI, which now even includes achievements! There have been a lot of changes to character movement and the cinematography of cutscenes, making the characters feel—not realistic—but much more fun to watch.

A good example of these new features, even the small ones, is the video above, showcasing the new conversation system and the ability to headpat the characters—a community-suggested feature (just like many others that have already been added!).

im just wondering when do you think it will release?

I’m rushing to release it by the 20th for Patreon testers… I originally thought it would be ready by the 5th, but so many changes happened that I had to redo 50% of the game. So… maybe the 20th?

If not, I’ll release it in another week, even if it’s incomplete, and then I’ll keep adding more content over time.
